OUR SERVICES

Integral systems, the company is an outshoot of the experience gained by its promoters during their long career in the GIS & CAD industry. Their rich experience consists of executing large projects for international companies and fulfilling the requirements of local market at the same time.

We, at Integral systems have acquired the expertise for creating high accuracy cartography and to the needs of the different sectors in GIS. Conversion of the maps from raster to vector along with updations of maps from other sources is a crucial task. Data capture and accuracy has been kept to the customer satisfaction with the help of various tools developed in house for extensive quality checks and efficient productivity.

We provide solutions that are platform independent and undertake projects on all the popular GIS platforms. Our data capture experience ranges from the relatively simple digitization to the development of complex and structured databases using stringent validation rules and inference techniques. We offer conversion of various kinds of maps varying in sizes, scales, formats to suit the client requirements. “Integral systems” also converts mechanical, civil and architectural drawings to customer specified file formats.

Our data capture & conversion services broadly includes telecom, Electricity & piped gas distribution companies, map publishing companies, water and wastewater applications, local and regional level governmental departments, raster to vector conversions, scanning and digitization, spatial database creation, data attributions, updations and manipulations etc. all depending on the project specific and end user requirements.

The main driver of our performance is our project execution methodology. Our integrated processes for conversion include scanning, digitizing from paper, raster or aerial/spatial imagery, data layering, geo-positioning, quality assurance, and validation.

We have well developed competence to create cadastral databases for municipal & local governments. Capabilities exist to capture data from multiple sources to build a GIS. Organizational capabilities exist to conduct Needs Analysis and System Design & Architecture for GIS application & integration in various verticals like health, transportation, and natural resources.

We also have required experience and manpower for application development & customizing on GIS platforms. We have executed numerous projects in map publishing to both vector & raster formats. Quick turnaround times, high quality levels, and an extremely competitive pricing differentiate our map/ data conversion services from other vendors.

Project Methodology

The hallmark of our workflow is our project methodology. Our project methodology is driven by end user requirements. Attempt is usually made to define the required product / service at the start of production work. Nevertheless, we always build a successfully working prototype before the production starts. This helps us understand the specification and expectations better, and hence fine-tune our workflow for project execution.

Our quality indicators help us filter random causes from special causes. Special causes are of concern to us; and to effectively handle such causes, we define Control Limits for each process and observe process results for conformance.

For example, results from Plot QC for Graphics Errors found in respective tiles are plotted above. The process tolerance is set between 0% and 2%. Though the errors will definitely be corrected, the graphics digitizing process is in control as long as the results fall within the control limits. In this situation, any attempt at process tuning will be a waste of effort. If the results begin to fly out of the specified range, there is need for concern.\

Tolerances are similarly set for all project processes and process results plotted to identify processes in need of adjustment. At the systemic level, these process adjustments aggregate into process optimization. This is a continuous process and is usually driven by unusual observations at different stages of the project lifecycle.

Team Formation

The pilot team invariably forms nucleus to the production team, and carries the project to closure. The Project Manager forms a multidisciplinary team as per the skills needed to plan & execute the project. The typical Roles on most of our projects are Technical Interface & Dissemination, Training, Quality Control, Programming, Inventory & Delivery, Digitizing & Connectivity Solving, and Project Management. Quality Assurance is not part of each project but a separate, independent team reporting directly to the Director. Our QA emulates the customer on each project and helps us maintain our quality levels.

Professional Skills

Our key resources are high skilled people with graduate & postgraduate degrees in engineering & management, with experience from industry and field, and additional qualifications in Geo-spatial technologies & project management. We place heavy emphasis on continuous up gradation of skills through training & mentoring.

Infrastructure

Over 3,000 square feet of furnished networked space located in the Electronic zone of city industrial area facility is available at our disposal. In addition to individual workstations, shared facilities include
